1940s

We were attacked

The Japs favorite sports were torturing, eviserating, raping and beheading. They did this to millions of people. It was actually a worst hollocaust than the Germans did.

Both Germany and Japan wanted to take over the US. Thousands of our people were tortured, starved and died fighting them.

We won but 45 Millions sufered and died. We are not prepared for the next one coming which appears will be right here. We are letting the enemy in by the millions. They are beginning to use our own laws against us to gain power within our country and they have big foreign money behind them to control public media and buy politicians.

At the top right was our radio. We would "watch the radio" as we listened to the Lone Ranger and other radio programs. And they had some great music on the radio. In another room we had a bigger radio with a majic eye. My favorite was my even older radio in my room which had short wave. I could hear radio stations from all over the world and also favorite music.

No need to complain about the small screen on the TV. Everyone was just thrilled to have one. Sometimes half of the neighborhood would go to a neighbors house to watch the first television in the neighborhood. If you were lucky they brought food and drinks. The radio had a nice big speaker for great sound. Many had a magic eye for tuning.

The magic eye was a vacuum tube that was hooked up to change its display as the radio was tuned to stations. One could tell a little better when it found the spot with the strongest signal.

No power needed. It played lound enough for all to enjoy the music on the 78 records.

TV came in for us in the late 1940s. All of the programs were decent unlike now. Once we made this into a color TV by taping some colored transparent cellophane to the front. It worked.
